Please join us for our upcoming CAS BioFinder™ Discovery Platform webinar series! During this series, we will discuss common use cases for using CAS BioFinder™ to accelerate your Drug Discovery process.

Examination of Tyrosine-Protein Kinase JAK as a Target for Cancer

When trying to engage in drug discovery for therapeutics capable of treating a disease, many decisions must be made. Access to the data necessary to make as many of these decisions as possible in one place could make scientists working in this field much more efficient. CAS BioFinder™ is an example of such a solution. To research targeting cancer through the inhibition of Tyrosine-Protein Kinase JAK, we will demonstrate the ability to access such information as:

    • All published activity data for ligands against specific targets and diseases
    • Molecular scaffolds obtained from ligands that are most active against a given target or disease
    • Prioritized known or novel compounds to pursue by generating predictive molecular characteristics and predicting potential off-target activities
    • The crystal structures of protein targets to visualize and probe for binding pockets
    • Research approaches to modulating disease through access to biopathways and relevant biomarkers

    Gary Gustafson and Henry Valle

Our individual journeys to discover new therapies to improve human health may be unique, but we all face challenges. Many of these challenges involve moving into the translational space - ensuring our discoveries can ultimately reach the patient. Traveling this path often takes us into unknown territory.

Join us as we discuss crossing gateways and navigating new terrain.
