Association of Biochemistry Educators 2023 Meeting

The ABE 2023 Annual Meeting will take place on April 30-May 4 at the Kiawah Island Resort in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. We are looking forward to returning to our traditional in-person format!  Registered attendees will have access to ALL ABE sessions and Posters during the week.  

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Health professions educators and faculty including those who teach Biology and/or Biochemistry
  • Course/Curriculum Directors, Residency Program Directors, Laboratory Fellowship Program Directors and Center Directors
  • Department Chairs and Section Chiefs
  • Publishers of dental, medical, and pharmacy biochemistry, cell biology, and genetics textbooks and education journals
  • Manufacturers and suppliers of teaching aids used in the classroom, including computers, simulators, and other computer related teaching devices
  • Developers of course management systems, case bank resource tools, web-based testing solutions, test question banks, etc.
  • Manufacturers and suppliers of audience response systems and other student assessment tools
  • Suppliers of on-line learning applications or interactive software
  • National organizations representing medical, dental, and pharmacy science disciplines
  • Anyone involved in clinical genetics or biochemistry education

The Association of Biochemistry Educators (ABE) is a non-profit society of educators in the field of biochemistry from schools of medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry.  We believe that basic science education, including Biochemistry, must be a cornerstone for the practice of modern healthcare. Our mission is to promote the critical foundational role of Biochemistry in healthcare education, foster innovation in Biochemistry education, and support the development of Biochemistry educators.
