Help Us Pave the Way in Academic Drug Discovery

Professional Advancement and Educational Resources (PAVER) Committee

Every path in academic drug discovery is paved with the successes, challenges, failures, and lessons learned by our 2,000 member strong Academic Drug Discovery Consortium. To capitalize on the strength of our membership, we have begun our newest initiative, the Professional Advancement and Educational Resources (PAVER) Committee.

PAVER strives to integrate aspects of the three pillars of the ADDC: Education, Community, and Partnership. Goals of PAVER are to continue the leadership of our successful webinar series, “Things You Need to Know”, which brings together drug discovery scientists from around the globe for conversations ranging from entrepreneurship, partnering, and starting dialogues about the unique aspects of performing drug discovery in an academic setting.  We’re also brainstorming ideas for additional educational and community-bridging opportunities, including local and national meetings, resources for teaching, and enhancing our presence on social media.

We anticipate that all of these activities will grow our visibility and assist in partnering ADDC member projects with both academic and industry collaborators.
