NIH Funds Grant to Study Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

The NIH has funded a 4 year joint research investigation between Weill Cornell Medical College, the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Beth Israel Medical Center to study chronic fatigue syndrome. The aims of the grant include understanding the root mechanism of the disease, differentiating this disease from major depressive disorder, and defining clinical biomarkers to diagnose the disease.
