New chemical probe provides tool to investigate role of malignant brain tumor domains in chromatin structure and regulation

Lindsey James (PHD) , research assistant professor in the Center for Integrative Chemical Biology and Drug Discovery, directed by Dr. Stephen Frye, published "Discovery of a chemical probe for the L3MBTL3 methyllysine reader domain" as the cover story for the March issue of Nature Chemical Biology. The article announces the discovery of a new chemical probe for a malignant brain tumor (MBT) domain that plays a role in chromatin regulation.
