Therapeutic Approaches: Biologics, Small Molecules, Vaccines, Biomarkers, Antibodies, Drug Delivery
Therapeutic Areas of Expertise: Any indication with an unmet medical need
Center/Program Highlights:
SPARK was created as an innovative, cost-effective way to overcome the hurdles associated with translating academic discoveries into drugs or diagnostics that address real clinical needs.
The SPARK mission is two-fold:
- 1- To help academicians overcome the obstacles involved in moving research innovations from bench to bedside
- 2- To educate faculty, postdoctoral fellows and graduate students on the translational research process and path to clinical application so that development of promising discoveries becomes second nature within our institution
